Spring forward!

I hope you all remembered to turn your clocks one hour ahead: Daylight Saving Time is here! We here at WHRB News managed to wake up on time to give you another episode of your favorite news magazine, but if you were one of the many who slept in a little too late this morning, we understand. You can listen to our show in its entirety here: FATY 3.9.08.

Special thanks to our host Kendall Kulper.

This week:
  • The Life of a Harvard Athlete: Margie Thorp - The first installment of what will be a series on the lives of athletes here at Harvard. This week we highlight varsity skier and Olympic hopeful Margie Thorp. Brought to you by reporter Leah Schwartz.
  • BONK! BONK! BONK! - A commentary on the consistently incorrect 'conventional wisdom' of political pundits, from frequent commentator Markus Kolic.
  • This Week in Review - A compilation of top news stories in the week leading up to March 9, from reporter Alyce de Carteret.
This week we also invited Jenna Mellor '08, member of Harvard's sex and gender journal H-Bomb, to the studio for a live interview. She discussed the role of sex and sex magazines on campus. Her interview can be found in the recording of the entire show (for convenience: FATY 3.9.08).

Extra:
  • A clip of Jenna Mellor interviewing Dennis Kucinich at the 2008 New Hampshire Primaries (he has since dropped out of the race).

Tune in next week for our special St. Patrick's Day show, where there will be the opportunity to win a special holiday-themed prize. But--in order to win, you must tune in!
