First FATY of the Year!

After a long summer hiatus, we are glad to be back on the air! This semester is bound to be an exciting one. We are introducing a new segment entitled The Political Arena with Alexander Heffner (TPA). While this may be new to WHRB, Alexander hosted a show with the same title on WPAA, the radio station at his high school in Andover, Massachusetts. Now a student at Harvard, he will continue his long tradition of excellent political journalism, and we are excited and proud to have him join us. WHRB News will also be hosting an election special on the night of the election, November 4. This special will be a marathon of live coverage, reporting the results as they come in with live interviews, expert analysis, and special features you can only get here. You won't want to miss it! Also this semester: the work of local high school students. This summer, WHRB and the Community Charter School of Cambridge (CCSC) paired up to teach students the art of radio.
